Before you start, you need:

A valid email address, a Colombian phone number, or an international phone plan.

A stable internet connection.

Digital photographs of yourself and your family members.

Scanned copies or photographs of your identification documents (passport, ID card) if available.

Scanned copy or photograph of your regular status document in Colombia.

If you are in the process of applying for refugee status with the Colombian government, we recommend notifying the Colombian authorities about your progress in the Safe Mobility process.
There are 7 steps in your application process:
- You must be over 18 years old, have Venezuelan, Haitian, or Cuban nationality, have arrived in Colombia before June 11, 2023, and have regular status in Colombia. Please remember that Colombian citizens are not included in this program for now.
- You will be asked for personal information such as your date of birth, name, and possible needs.
- Upload a clear photo of yourself from your device (phone, tablet, computer). If you don’t have it on your phone, you can take a photo now and upload it.
- Upload a photo of your identification document (if you have it).
- Upload proof of your regular status in Colombia.
- Please add all the family members who are with you in Colombia and fall into the following categories: spouse/partner, minor children (including stepchildren and adopted children), minor grandchildren, and parents. If other relatives wish to apply, they must submit a separate application.
- You will be asked to answer a short questionnaire before you can submit your application.
