Before you start, you need:
- A valid email, a valid phone number or an international phone plan.
- A stable internet connection.
- Digital photographs of yourself and your family members.
- Scanned copies or photographs of your identity documents (passport, ID card) if available.
There are 7 steps in your application process:
- You must be over 18 years old and have Ecuadorian, Nicaraguan or Venezuelan nationality.
- You will be asked for personal information such as your date of birth, name, and possible needs.
- Upload a clear photo of yourself from your device (phone, tablet, computer). If you don’t have it on your phone, you can take a photo now and upload it.
- Upload a photo of your identification document (if you have one).
- Upload proof of you presence in Costa Rica prior to 15 September 2024.
- Please add all the family members who are with you in Costa Rica and fall into the following categories: spouse/partner, minor children (including stepchildren and adopted children), minor grandchildren, and parents. If other relatives wish to apply, they must submit a separate application
- You will be asked to answer a short questionnaire before you can submit your application.
