Before you start, you need:
- A valid email, a valid phone number or an international phone plan.
- A stable internet connection.
- Digital photographs of yourself and your family members.
- Scanned copies or photographs of your identity documents (passport, ID card) if available.
There are 7 steps in your application process:
- You must be over 18 years old and have Colombian, Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan or Venezuelan nationality, have arrived in Ecuador before October 18, 2023, and have applied to the Ecuadorian migratory regularization process or have initiated your asylum application before that date.
- You will be asked for personal information such as your date of birth, name, and possible needs.
- Upload a clear photo of yourself from your device (phone, tablet, computer). If you don’t have it on your phone, you can take a photo now and upload it.
- Upload a photo of your identification document (if you have it).
- You must upload a photo of a document proving your legal status (migration situation). Only the following documents will be accepted for this purpose:
a) Web registration certificate (migration registration Decree 436/22)
b) Migratory Permanence Certificate (migration registration Decree 436/22)
c) VIRTE Visa
d) Humanitarian Visa as an international protection applicant
e) International Protection Visa
f) Ecuadorian Identity Card
g) Asylum application certificate - Please add all the family members who are with you in Ecuador and fall into the following categories: spouse/partner, minor children (including stepchildren and adopted children), minor grandchildren, and parents. If other relatives wish to apply, they must submit a separate application.
- You will be asked to answer a short questionnaire before you can submit your application.
