Before you begin, you need:
- A valid email, a valid phone number or an international phone plan.
- A stable internet connection.
- Digital photographs of yourself and your family members.
- Scanned copies or photographs of your identity documents (passport, ID card) if available.
There are 6 steps in your application process:
- You must be over 18 years old and a national of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras or Nicaraguas. If you are not Guatemalan, you must have entered Guatemala before 16 July 2024.
- You will be asked for personal information, such as your date of birth, name and possible needs.
- Upload a clear photo of yourself from your device (phone, tablet, computer). If you do not have one, you can take one now before you start.
- Upload a photo of your identification document (if you have it).
- Please add all the family members who are with you who fall into the following categories: partner/spouse, minor children (including step-children and foster children), minor grandchildren and parents. If other family members not listed above are willing to apply, they need to submit their own application separately.
- You will be asked to answer a short questionnaire before you can submit your application.
